Customers who choose Ethernet services as their communications solution may do so because it is the UK's most common method of connecting to the internet. Indeed, it is both easier to set-up and maintain than wireless options and is also a more cost-effective method of getting online.

Ethernet services work through the use of fibre-optic media, which is used to send information in 'packets' across a broadband network. Compared to T1 and ADSL lines, Ethernet services are cheaper and rely primarily on a wired infrastructure, which makes them more practical when it comes to locating and repairing network problems.
